After the AGM, there will be a presentation on “The Illegal Wildlife Trade”, by ex-trustee Martin Brasher.
It is a sad fact that the illegal wildlife trade is one of the most lucrative criminal activities in the world. Elephant ivory is highly prized. So too are rhino horn, tiger skins, turtle shells – the list goes on. Martin’s talk will set out the scale of the problem, and discuss what can be done to combat it before it is too late
